The Policy Brands Roundtable is a strategic research service designed to help government affairs professionals identify and develop the most effective approaches to advocacy. We study organizations’ policy brand, which is a measure of an organization’s long-term reputation and influence among the powerbrokers of DC. We serve our clients – separate from the journalistic work of National Journal and Atlantic Media – through a quantitative benchmarking study, qualitative interviews, and other diagnostic tools that allow them to track and improve their Washington brand and ultimately enhance their approach to advocacy.
Who the Research Consultant is:
A self-motivated, innovative, and driven individual with proven analytical skills, deep intellectual curiosity, and a passion for applying qualitative and quantitative research to clients’ unique circumstances. This individual will become an expert in the canon of tools and information built throughout the program’s history in order to solve an ever-evolving set of challenges in the advocacy market.
The consultant will be involved in the scoping, analysis, problem identification, material creation, and client interaction for our custom consulting projects related to communications and government affairs in Washington, DC. The consultant will report to the Director of Product Strategy and will work in close coordination with the research and revenue teams.
This person will have an aptitude for, and interest in, Washington politics and policy. They will have previous research-based consulting experience in service of senior executives at prominent organizations, preferably within the advocacy or government affairs function at corporations and associations.
